Temple

1. “Within the sound of my voice are individuals who have received the ordinances of the temple and for various reasons have not returned to the house of the Lord in quite some time. Please repent, prepare, and do whatever needs to be done so you can again worship in the temple and more fully remember and honor your sacred covenants.”(David A. Bednar, “Honorably Hold a Name and Standing,”  May 2009 Ensign)
2. “Temple. One other word is equal in importance to a Latter-day Saint. Home. Put the words holy temple and home together, and you have described the house of the Lord!” (Boyd K. Packer, “The Temple, the Priesthood,” May 1993 Ensign,)
3. "In addition to temples, surely another holy place on earth ought to be our homes. The feelings of holiness in my home prepared me for feelings of holiness in the temple." (James E. Faust, "Standing in Holy Places," May 2005 Ensign)
4. "The temple endowment was given by revelation. Thus, it is best understood by revelation, prayerfully sought with a sincere heart. President Brigham Young said, 'Your endowment is, to receive all those ordinances in the house of the Lord, which are necessary for you, after you have departed this life, to enable you to walk back to the presence of the Father, . . . and gain your eternal exaltation' (Discourses of Brigham Young, sel. John A. Widtsoe [1941], 416)."(Russell M. Nelson, “Personal Preparation for Temple Blessings,” May 2001 Ensign)
5. “There exists a righteous unity between the temple and the home. Understanding the eternal nature of the temple will draw you to your family; understanding the eternal nature of the family will draw you to the temple. President Howard W. Hunter stated, ‘In the ordinances of the temple, the foundations of the eternal family are sealed in place’ (Howard W. Hunter, “A Temple-Motivated People,” Liahona, May 1995, 4; Ensign, Feb. 1995, 2).” (Gary E. Stevenson, “Sacred Homes, Sacred Temples,” May 2009 Ensign)

6. "It is the ordinances of the temple that we are placed under covenant to Him...[If] we will enter into our covenants without reservation or apology, the Lord will protect us. We will receive inspiration sufficient for the challenges of life." (Boyd K. Packer, "Preparing to Enter the Holy Temple")

7. "What I am trying to teach is that when we keep the temple covenants we have made and when we live righteously in order to maintain the blessings promised by those ordinances, then come what may, we have no reason to worry or to feel despondent." (Richard G. Scott, "Temple Worship: The Source of Strength and Power in Times of Need")

8. "Within the sound of my voice are many young women, young men, and children. I plead with you to be worthy, to be steadfast, and to look forward with great anticipation to the day you will receive the ordinances and blessings of the temple." (David A. Bednar, "Honorably Hold a Name and Standing" May 2009 Ensign)

9. "To you who are worthy and able to attend the temple, I would admonish you to go often. The temple is a place where we can find peace. There we receive a renewed dedication to the gospel and a strengthened resolve to keep the commandments." (Thomas S. Monson, "Until We Meet Again" May 2009 Ensign)

10. "Our inborn yearnings for family connections are fulfilled when we are linked to our ancestors through sacred ordinances of the temple." (Russell M. Nelson, "Generations Linked in Love" May 2010 Ensign)
